Godehard Gerling, M.A. has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions in the IT and software industry. Before co-founding BeG he was the responsible Vice President for product management and brand strategy at Gigaset Communications, formerly Siemens SHC.

Previous experience includes building Destinator Technologies’ European navigation software business as Vice President Business Development and General Manager, as well as several years with Akamai Technologies' and Dell's respective European management where he, among other, as director of Dell's Notebook Business Unit, drove Dell's rapid growth into the European notebook market.

Prior to Dell, Godehard held various regional and European marketing positions with Apple Computer EMEA, including the responsibility for the European product marketing organization. Earlier he co-founded and co-managed one of the fastest-growing Apple PC and peripherals retail businesses in Germany.

Beyond his operative roles Godehard has served as a consultant and advisor to a number of German and international startups. Godehard is a member of the PDMA and runs his personal blog at godehardg.tumblr.com.
